First and foremost, thank you for your interest in supporting Pioneer! Pioneer relies on many people to operate and support the corps year round. Volunteers are needed at all Pioneer functions throughout the year, both during winter camps and summer tour. In addition, volunteers are also need during the week in the Milwaukee area to run our weekly bingo sessions. Whatever your strength, we're sure that there is a way that you can help out the corps! The following is a sampling of the volunteer positions that are available within Pioneer.

Transportation
If you have your Commercial Driver's License, or are interested in obtaining a CDL, we can use your help driving the corps' vehicles. We need drivers for two tractor truck/semitrailers, three MCI coach busses, and any other support vehicles that may be on tour with us. If you do not have a CDL, the corps can assist you in obtaining one.

Food Program
The corps provides members with approximately 80% of their meals while on tour and during winter camps. These meals are prepared by a dedicated crew of "cooks". Working out of semitrailer converted into a fully equipped kitchen, the crew prepares 3-4 meals a day for the corps!

Uniform Department
The corps depends on crew of people handy with a needle and thread to fit the corps member's uniforms and to keep them looking sharp throughout the season. In addition to the annual preseason uniform fitting, the member's uniforms are also altered on the road as the members slim down. In addition, there's always those emergency repairs!

The "Handyman" Department
If you're handy with tools, the corps can definitely use your help! The rigors of tour often lead to emergency repairs of the corps' equipment. Whether it be a burned out clearance lamp on a bus, a loose wheel on a marimba, or a broken shelf on the cook truck... it needs to be fixed!

Bingo Helpers
Pioneer Bingo makes up a large percentage of the corps' budget. It takes many people to make these bingo sessions run. Whether you can help once a week or once a month, we can use your help!

If wish to help out in one of the above areas, or have any other ideas on how you may be of help to the Pioneer, please contact the corps office today!
